Beatrice Elliott is currently the Owner and Director of Born Learners Preschool, a school for early childhood education, in Agoura Hills, California. She is the original creator of the school, which has served Agoura Hills, Malibu, Calabasas, Oak Park and Thousand Oaks since 1979. As a Speech & Language Therapist, Bea was aware of the many learning styles that children possess. Her goal in establishing Born Learners was to build a school that acknowledged children’s many intelligences and expanded their joy for learning. She also serves as a family counselor to the parents and students within her school.
Ms. Elliott has her M.S. in School Management and Administration from Pepperdine University. She also has her B.A. In Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Ms. Elliott has been interviewed on the NBC Sunday Show for her article on Choosing a Quality Preschool. She has also written a book and produced a video with the same name.
She appeared on cable nightly TV News as the Parenting Advisor. She has written a children’s TV show, Kids Kount and a parent and child talk show SOS (Seeing the Other Side). She also wrote a parents and children’s advice column for the local newspaper.
She is a proud mother of a son who is in graduate school at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
